The document is now available from the Civic Offices in Epping. EFDC have ruled out sending the document to every household in the District, so please register your name and address for your copy. The consultation document includes a questionnaire that each adult in your family can complete. The questionnaire can also be completed on line. The final document is now also available to down load:

Any responses sent to EFDC before today, 4th November will not form part of the consultation process. In order to present an effective objection responses should be considered and focused.

Theydon Bois Parish Council have organised two public meetings to advise residents how best to respond. Please try and attend both of these meetings as objections to the consultation will be less effective if they are based on anything other than Planning Law, and it is the intention of the Parish Council to advise on effective objections at these meetings. TBAG encourages residents to attend these meetings before submitting objections so that their representations can be focused and relevant.

Thursday 13th November @ 7.30pm - Theydon Bois Primary School Hall
and
Thursday 4th December @ 7.30pm - Theydon Bois Village Hall

R Gibson of Waltham Abbey and Sewardstone Residents Committee has set up the following Prime Ministers Petition:

petitions.number10.gov.uk/essex-says-no/

'We the undersigned petition the Prime Minister to bring about a review of National and Regional Policy Requirements on Development Plan Provision for Gypsies and Travellers. We would like to see a more definitive set of guidelines on strategy for Local Authorities to deliver sites - in particular respect of the East of England Plan and to make better or more provision within the consultation process for the settled community (whom are potentially affected) to have a greater input in the Local Authorities Site selection processes.'

Please take a look and sign up.
